Deep Thought by WonderDookie Deep Thought by WonderDookie
For some reason I was thinking about this Deep Thought at work yesterday, and decided to do an illustration of it really quick. Not a lot invested in it. I just drew it whilst I watched Pulp Fiction (I actually finished it in EXACTLY the amount of time it took me to watch Pulp Fiction.... wierd.)

Anyway, if you haven't heard of Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy then you should check them out sometime. They are hilarious.

Hmmm. I didn't watch a lot of SNL in the early days but the Deep Thoughts with Jack Handy interludes seemed to be random non sequiturs there to fill a few seconds. The first one I remember was about sharks though. It was about finding a man inside of a shark inside of a man inside of a shark etc. But a shark on an elephant, that's kind of like the thing Strong Bad thought up, with the bear holding the shark. I think it was a bear holding a shark. I could be remembering one of them wrong. I wonder which one was first. Probably the SNL thing.

haha. Yeah. The Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy were way way before Strong Bad. Probably in the early 90s compared to the early 2000s.

Deep Thoughts too!? You're on your way to becoming my favorite Deviant, my good man. That one's one of my faves. I also love, "If you're ever falling off a building, you should go limp like a dummy and hope that someone catches you, because hey, free dummy."

ha ha. That one is aweosome. I think I have two favorites of all time.

"If God is inside of us, like some people say, I hope he likes enchilladas, cause that's what he's gonna get."

and

"The wise man can pick up a grain of sand and envision a whole universe. But the stupid man will just lay down on some seaweed and roll around until he's completely draped in it. Then he'll stand up and go, 'Hey, I'm Vine Man.'"

Yeah, this one is great. I always have a hard time picking my favorite. I think it shifts with my mood. Right now my favorite is, "It takes a big man to cry. But it takes an even bigger man to laugh at that man."

Almost as funny as the truth! The most dangerous animal is the hippopotamus. For Godīs sake, of all creatures. But it kills more people in Africa than every other animal. Weird!
