There goes George Lucas again, taking a big rancid dump on my childhood.

Lets see what other beloved franchises from my childhood he can destroy. If he ever starts writing a Ghostbusters movie I'll probably have to do something desperate.

Don't get me wrong, I thought the first half of the new Indy movie was a lot of fun, but I spent the entire second half going, "Oh please tell me this isn't going to end like I think it's going to end." And it did. And I wept a little.

i'm glad i'm not the only one who totally hated the movie! it had some fun parts, but i was so devistated when it just wasn't good.
funny picture and precise sad commentary. i honestly think that someone should take this guy out (well, about 15 years ago actually)... never would i predict that an indiana jones movie would be more incoherent, arbitrary and ultimately meaningless than a tomb raider one.

at least salacious crumb is happy!

Let teachers, priests and philosophers brood over questions of reality and illusion. I know this: if life is an illusion, then I am no less an illusion, and being thus, the illusion is real to me. I live, I burn with life, I love, I slay, and I am conan
I am going to see the Indiana Jones movie but from what you wrote... he gets "taken" doesn't he...

Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heros.
I completely agree man!

I couldn't agree more.

I really enjoyed Indy 4, and I was soooooo freakin' happy it wasn't another Temple of Doom.

Yeah, the beginning of the new Indy movie was fun, like "Yay!", but the ending really made me go "wtf...". I think maybe Lucas liquor'd up Speilberg while they were writing and convinced him to hand the ending over.

We feel your pain.

Well, I didn't TOTALLY hate it. I thought it was fun seeing Indy again. I REALLY missed seeing him in a movie. And one thing the movie accomplished was making me love the character even more.

I just thought that the plot was ridiculous, and the action was way too over the top.

haha! OUCH! That's about the worst rating I've heard of the movie: Lara>Indy. Sad.
