Halloween Graveyard by WonderDookie Halloween Graveyard by WonderDookie
Only about a month left: bring on the Halloween drawings!

Even though I currently find myself south of the equator, and the trees are just now starting to bud and bloom, I still get in the Halloween mood. It must be something deep in my genes.

Thanks! Yeah, I think this is the most realistic of my faux papercrafts so far. I wish I could actually make this one with paper.

I love the cardboard feel. Great use of light and shadows and very well chosen colors. Amazing work.

Thank you very much! I think the texture was actually from the inside of a box of soda, so it definitely is cardboard.

As for the colours, it was a bit of an experimentation, so I'm glad it work out well!

He bears the mark of evil, and cannot be sanctified! Keep Halloween alive in the southern lands. Your use of color is powerful and dramatic, I'm really diggin' this one. It reminds me a little of Chernabog's scene in Fantasia, due to the epicness you attained with the moon's presence. Nice work, oh yes indeed.

Thank you much man. I'm trying! It's a bit difficult when all of the flowers are blooming and my hayfever is going crazy. And there aren't any orange pumpkins anywhere! They are all little white pathetic things. Bullshit!
