Swans on the Riverby ~WonderDookie

I've been struggling along with photography lately, trying to work on my composition a bit and playing around with settings. I'm looking for a bit of critique so I thought I'd post one up here.

There were some swans out on the river in front of my parents place this morning, so I went out and snapped a few pictures of them. This one being my favorite.

haha. Well I'm working on it! I just got an older Nikon from a friend of mine, and I've been having a lot of fun snapping pictures with it.

Wow. this is really good. Swans are very pretty creatures. I have never seen one in real life though :(
