Another submission for my favorite movies series. Tommy Boy. I've got this one written down as my #8 favorite movie. I'm starting to get to the part of the top ten that's really unclear. I've come to the conclusion that numbers 7-15 are in a state of constant flux, so what I'm going to do is just pick movies that I think would be fun to draw. The quantifying of one's cherished movies is a difficult undertaking. It's like picking a favorite child.
So far Chris Farley has been by far the most difficult caricature for this series. I'm not very pleased at all with how his face looks, but I spent HOURS on it without satisfaction, so I threw in the towel. (Edit: I picked up the towel again and worked on the face a bit more. I also made him a little bigger in the picture, and made his hair messier) I also referenced the cover of the Sound of Music DVD even though I've never even seen that movie. So just to be clear... Sound of Music has no place in my top ten list.
Wow. You have seen, like, none of my favorite movies. For some reason I'm slightly embarassed.
Thanks for the comments though. I also really like how the colours turned out in the background. I was thinking about just submitting the background in my scraps folder.
i was gonna say....the only thing i can really say i wasnt overly impressed with was his face, as ive said with your past few submissions, the facial expressions are what have really gotten me. but aside from that, i totally dig it....naturally. i really dig the background, fun stuff man....always looking forward to something new C:+

Still we are one, you and I
Realize, I did what you wanted me to
The lack of pure souls and the fading light
It's me you blame

I took a glance at this pic and thought "That looks like the Sound of Music..." before I even read your comments.
Good job!
Another fantastic piece :0D
P.S. His face looks fine! The hair and gut totally give him away.
Oh and the little peek of skin above his belt buckle? Priceless.
